Developing a culture of wellness
The practice of yoga can benefit everyone, promoting overall health and wellness for the body and mind.
It offers a means to maintain the body and prevent injury.
It has been a great (and interesting!!!) experience to work with you all and notice your different areas of need.
The general goal I’ve set for our classes has been to increase flexibility – especially in the hips and shoulders, increase range of motion in the major joints and improve respiration, posture, body awareness and mental focus.
Now we’ve commenced on this journey, I’d like to understand your individual needs such as the activities you do that rest or stretch/stress different areas of the body. I can begin to design a specific yoga programme to compliment your activities – as best I can to suit the whole group.
